Why is my dough divider rounder is not dividing or rounding the dough pieces fully?

If your unit is not dividing or rounding the dough correctly, please check the following:
  1. Check and adjust the batch size as needed. The recommended batch dough weight ranges from 2.8lbs to 7.25lbs, depending on the model of your unit.  Please make sure to refer to your manual and model for the correct recommended batch dough weights.
  2. Make sure the weight scale/pressure setting used to divide is set correctly. Weigh the dough without the tray to calculate the batch size in kilogram, then divide by the number of divisions for your unit to get the desired weight of each individual piece in grams. According to this desired weight, set the weight scale/pressure setting.
  3. Make sure the dough is pressed evenly.
  4. Make sure the dough tray is level on the rounding platform.
  5. Make sure the main lever stop adjustment is low enough to allow dividing knives to lower themselves enough to cut the dough.
  6. Check that the rounding platform is not misaligned.
  7. Make sure not too much flour is used, as it can cause the dough to not "catch" between the dividing head and the tray.
