Why is my bread slicer not slicing properly?

Please check the following potential causes:
  1. Make sure that the bread is not too hot while attempting to slice.
  2. Make sure the blades are clean.
  3. Make sure to replace the blades if they are broken or dull.
  4. Check the guide adjustment. Make sure the guide bars are adjusted so that the bread fits through but does not rotate while sliding or slicing.
  5. Make sure the belt is in good condition. Replace them if they are not.
  6. For the AE-BS06, if you are pushing the bread through the blades to aid in the output , make sure to not use too much force.
