Troubleshooting for your Dough Sheeter Going One Way

My dough sheeter only works going in one direction. What should I do?

If your dough sheeter is only working going in one direction and does not go in the other direction, it could be the following possible causes:
  1. Check the tension on the conveyor belts and ensure both are properly tightened
  2. Check all of the gears/chains as one or more gears may be worn out
  3. There is a loose or damaged wire for the control lever or limit switch
  4. There is a loose or damaged wire for the motor starting contactor coils
  5. A limit switch has failed
  6. A contactor coil has failed
  7. The unit is installed with incorrect electrical specifications
