American Eagle Meat Grinder Troubleshooting

The grinder stops working suddenly during operation. What should I do?

There are a number of reasons that might have caused this to occur.
  • The machine has been overloaded.
Turn the forward/reverse switch to OFF. Let the unit cool off for 10-15 minutes before starting again. Press the Reset button, then resume.
If after resuming, the problem still persists, remove the grinder attachment to see if the motor runs normally without the grinder head assembled. If it runs normally, check the attachment for the following points:
  • Make sure the teflon washer is on the spiral auger.

  • Make sure the coupling ring is not installed too tightly.
Turn the forward/reverse switch to OFF. Let the unit cool off for 10-15 minutes. Loosen the coupling ring. Hand tighten, then rotate the coupling ring slightly. Press the reset button, then resume.
Do not use a tool or over tighten! The coupling ring should be rotated backward at most 1/8".
