Troubleshooting When American Eagle Meat Grinder Makes Noise

My meat grinder is making a high-pitched sound when it runs. What should I do?

First, remove the grinder attachment off the motor unit, and run the motor unit by itself. Does it still make a high-pitched sound?

If the motor is still making the sound, please send a short video to us at support@americaneaglemachine.com so we can help you further.

If the motor is not making the sound, then the attachment is where the noise is coming from. This is an easy fix as there are two possible causes:
  1. The Teflon washer may be missing which can cause the auger to rub against the chamber. Double check that the washer is on the spiral auger.

  1. The coupling ring is installed too tightly. An over-tightened coupling ring can cause the knife and grinder plate to rub against each other, so you will need to loosen the coupling ring a little. If there is still a high-pitched noise when running the machine, you will need to loosen it slightly more.
